research

poligrow is engaged in research into the development new technological
solutions to be applied to vegetable oils production and biotechnologies.
Research is carried out through international partnerships with Universities
and specialized public and private bodies.
the Nanoleaf project
The soon-to-start Nanoleaf project will focus on the development of an
artificial device exploiting sun energy to split
water atoms and thus produce hydrogen. The project will study all
necessary steps to turn lab - scale processes into industrial scale applications.
Nanoleaf will also investigate the behavior of microalgal cultures in
intensive bioreactors, in order to assess microalgae ability to produce:
enzymes to be used for the Nanoleaf device
vegetable oil for medical, food, cosmetic and biofuel applications,
to name but a few.
Under the Nanoleaf project, poligrow cooperates with high-skilled
partners from the academic world and from private industry.
